David Dancing

Wednesday, June 19, 2013

“David danced before the Lord with all his might; and David was wearing a linen ephod.”

2 Samuel 22:14

The presence of God causes great joy in the hearts of those who love Him. Can you testify of this? Do you rejoice in the Lord because He is with you and in His presence is everything you will ever need? The very presence of God dwells within every follower of Jesus Christ, through the person of the Holy Spirit. It is He who leads us on to our destiny victoriously!

God has placed a call on your life. You have said “yes” and you have embraced that “yes” and let it become part of your being. So now, praise God because you have just said “yes” to a divine partnership with the Holy Spirit to fulfill your destiny. That’s what the Ark of the Covenant meant to David.

God had called David to be the king of Israel, and David said “Yes”, but he could not do it alone. Having the ark in Jerusalem, symbolized the presence of God in David’s midst. That’s why David danced! The presence of God was in his city! David recognized that in God’s presence was everything that He needed to become who he was born to be and to do what He was called to do!

By the Holy Spirit, within you is everything that you need to accomplish your destiny!

Step 2: Praise and Thank God!

“Thank [God] for choosing you and praise Him for His  goodness and mercy towards you.  He looked beyond your faults and chose you to be a part of His plan for the earth.             The Shift
