“I love those who love me, and those who seek me diligently will find me.”

Proverbs 8:17

By: Apostle Diann J. Wilson

In the first chapter of the book of James, we read this statement: “If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God who gives liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.” In Proverbs 8, wisdom is speaking to us declaring her love for those who love her.

Do you love wisdom? Do you ask God for wisdom? How do you view wisdom?  Is it just for a few holy people and not for the ordinary believer?  Maybe you need to change your perspective of wisdom.  No longer can you think of wisdom as a thing, you must see it as a person. Wisdom is a person. It is the person of the Holy Spirit.  Every born again believer has wisdom because he or she has the  Holy Spirit.

Ask God to fill you with the Holy Spirit, if you have never done so before.  Fall in love with the Spirit of wisdom and watch wisdom begin to operate in your life. I promise you that you are in for a great surprise, even those around you would be amazed at the change in your words, actions and advice.

Today, see yourself filled with the Spirit of wisdom and let wisdom direct your path. God wants you to have wisdom.  It’s yours, if you will ask for it!
