“If you faint in the day of adversity, your strength is small.”
Proverbs 24: 10 AMP
By: Apostle Diann J. Wilson
As you journey through life, you would experience both pleasure and pain, success and failure. God allows us to experience good times and adversities because He knows that we need to. Adversities allow us to know ourselves.
Your true strength is exposed when you are faced with difficulties and challenges that seem to overwhelm you. It is in those times that you know how strong you really are.
When times of adversity come – not if they come, but when they come, and you throw in the towel and say “I give up”, then you know that your strength is small or weak. Do not be small in your strength. Be strong in the Lord. Understand that adversities come to make you stronger and more resilient.
Adversity can be a good teacher if you would open your heart and allow the lessons that you must learn to be revealed to you. Do not faint in the day of trouble, my friend. Trouble is not your, enemy it is your stepping stone to your destiny.
Declare over yourself today that you would use the negative situation that confronts you to your benefit because you know that all things, good things or adversities, work together for your good because you love the Lord.
