Table Set with Selection of Starters

“Is anyone thirsty?

Come and drink— even if you have no money!

Come, take your choice of wine or milk— it’s all free!”

Isaiah 55:1 NLT

“Come.” Listen to this invitation today. Hear the voice of the  Holy Spirit beckoning you into His presence. “Come and drink… Come and take…” Don’t let money get in the way, don’t let payment become an issue. Just come. If you’re thirsty, friend, if you’re hungry, God says to “Come” and receive.

For some, this invitation makes us a little uncomfortable. We are so used to working hard for what we want, saving for months and then purchasing an item, or borrowing to buy what we need. This sounds too simple.

Just “come”? God, is that you?

Yes. It’s God. He has paid a high price so that you could partake of His banquet. Through the blood of His Son, Jesus Christ, He has laid a table filled with everything you need—there is salvation, peace, joy, love, forgiveness, righteousness, provision and eternal life in Jesus. He has been asking you to come and dine.

You’re not perfect, God knows that. The only thing that qualifies you to enjoy this gift is faith in Jesus Christ. So, you can freely return to Him in this moment, rest in His love and allow the Holy Spirit to satisfy you completely. Receive of the life that Jesus offers.

Jesus is the Bread of Life. Jesus is the Living Water. Eat! Drink! Be full! Partake of all that He is. Give thanks today, God has made all of this possible for you!
