Strength

“He gives power to the weak, And to those who have no might He increases strength.” Isaiah 40:29

Have you ever felt like you were ready to faint? You just couldn’t take it anymore…you had about enough of the hard times in your life and you wished they were over. We have all gone through times where we were on the verge of giving up, when we thought that there was no reason to have hope. Maybe you are in that season of your life right now.

Be encouraged with the Word of the Lord today. God promises to give power to those who are weak, to give strength to those who have no might. In order for that power and strength to come, we must acknowledge that we have come to the end of ourselves; we must be able to let our defences down and ask God to give us the power and strength we need to continue to run our leg of the journey, no matter what may come our way.

If you have been trying to live your life depending on your own strength, the Lord wants you to know that He is faithful to His Word. All we need to do is ask Him for His help and He will help. In the easy and difficult times, we need God’s strength! Today, know that God has all power and might in His hand and He is ready, willing and able to give us what we need. Call out to Him and He will answer. Depend upon Him and He will see you through. He has made you a promise to strengthen you and He will keep it! God’s word is good.
