Your Word for This Day: “I am Redeemed”

Wednesday, December 11, 2014

Oh, give thanks to the Lord, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever. Let the redeemed of the Lord say so...” Psalm 107:1-2

God has won. That’s the end of the story.

He has triumphed completely.

It was never a battle for His authority. His power can’t really be challenged. His ability can’t really be questioned. So, what was the battle for?

It was for you.

You are so important to God.

You are the product of His intelligence, His ability and His spoken word. You are the peak of His creation and His plans for you are great.

That’s why when the serpent tricked Adam and Eve into disobeying God, God didn’t let Him get away with it. He already had a plan in place to redeem mankind—each one of us.

This plan of redemption is great. God gave the life of His Son, so that you and I could be brought back into fellowship with our Creator…

So that we could live forever with Him…

So that we could walk in the authority and power that God designed us for.

God created you to lead.

In Christ Jesus, you are redeemed and restored to your rightful place of authority in this earth.

Today, we sing the Victor’s song.

In Christ, we have overcome!  Let the redeemed of the Lord say so!
