Your Word of Me: “All of Me”

And Mary said: “My soul magnifies the Lord, and my spirit has rejoiced in God my Savior.” Luke 1:46-47

“Don’t Live, Be A.L.I.V.E. in 2015”

As we continue to actively engage ourselves in our process of change, we must realize that as good as it is to praise God in our spirit, we must engage our souls as well.

Our soul represents the part of us that gives us definition, in that it involves our mental capacity, our emotions and our intelligence.  We must consciously engage our soul in   every thing we do so that our entire being would be changing and conforming to God’s image and likeness.

Many times the soul is not connected to the other parts of us, namely our body and spirit, and so there is disunity and dysfunction in our being.  This could lead to us missing out on many of Gods blessings.  Remember, where there is unity, God commands blessings (Psalm 133).

Let us therefore strive to be united in body, soul and spirit so that we could access our inheritance in Christ. Command your soul today to magnify the Lord so that your spirit can rejoice in God your Saviour as you walk in blessings and victory.
