“ The thief’s purpose is to steal and kill and destroy. My purpose is to give them a rich and satisfying life.” John 10:10
“Don’t Live, Be A.L.I.V.E. in 2015”
Years ago, there was a popular television show called “Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous.” Each week, we were privy to the opulent cars, houses, and toys of the very rich. For some of us, we wanted what they had, but little did we know what type of life they really lived after the cameras stopped rolling. Many were very unhappy with their lives.
How about you?
What do you think about the life that you have been living?
This is what the “L” stands for in A.L.I.V.E.:
Are you Living the Life that God has designed for you?
To be ALIVE in 2015, to walk in all that God has made available to you, requires commitment.
You must be committed to yourself– to being the best you that you can be. You must commit to stick with yourself and not throw in the towel; to speak truth to yourself in love; to invest in you.
The worst thing to do is to wish that you had someone else’s life. It’s an insult to the creativity of God.
So, let’s take a praise break right now! Send up a praise for the life that God has given you—with all of its ups and downs.
God has given you a life to live, full of potential and power, it’s His gift to you.
Embrace each moment and max it out—that’s your gift to Him.
