Your Word for This Day: “Faith in God’s Word Works”

Thursday, February 12, 2015

Then Jesus said to the centurion, “Go your way; and as you have believed, so let it be done for you.” And his servant was healed that same hour.” Matthew 8:13

“Don’t Live, Be A.L.I.V.E. in 2015”

There was an Army Official who was well known. He was a man of authority and influence — people moved when he spoke. But, he also had an issue. One of his servants fell sick. So, the Official went to Jesus.

The remarkable thing is that he didn’t ask for Jesus, the healer, to come to his home, he said “Just say the word from where you are, and my servant will be healed.”  His faith in God’s word was the key to his miracle.

As you pursue the life that God has designed for you, you will encounter some issues—someone will fall sick, the money may run out, the answer may be “no”, the child may act up, the business might fail… whatever it is, you must believe that Jesus’ word makes the difference.

You must have faith in God’s word.

Everything that you need is in God’s word.

Rich and poor, old and young, male and female, black and white, educated and uneducated, we ALL HAVE ISSUES.

Loving Jesus does not make you exempt.

Life in Christ gives you the victory over your issues.

Do you know that?

You have victory over your issues in the mighty name of Jesus Christ!

So, what are you facing today?

Believe that God’s word can change things and declare His promises over your life! Amen!
