Your Word for This Day: “Joy and Laughter”

Tuesday, April 21, 2015

 Then our mouth was filled with laughter, and our tongue with shouts of joy;
then they said among the nations, “The
Lord has done great things for them.”  Psalm 126:2

How are you doing today? Have you laughed as yet or even smiled?

As we embrace every day that the Lord has made and given to us, it is important that we do so with the right attitude of gratitude and thanksgiving. How do we do that one might ask, when everything is seemingly out of order and so many things need to be fixed in my life?

Well my friend, the fact that God has allowed you to see another new day, is evidence enough that He has something to accomplish in your life.  If God was finished with you, He would not allow you to live to even face the trouble that you may be in.

Having life is your guarantee that God is up to something great and if you would make the choice to trust Him no matter what you will find out what that great thing is.

Right now is the best time to begin to laugh and thank God for life.

Laughter is the best medicine.  God is about to do something awesome for you, in you, with you and through you.

Rejoice, laugh, sing, shout, if you have to, but do not let the enemy rob you of your joy.  Let those around you wonder what is happening to you and if they are brave enough to ask you then testify and call those things that are not as though they were already in existence.

Declare that the Lord has done great things for you.  And indeed He has, for He has given you another opportunity to experience the Greatness of your God.  He has given you life and where there is life there is hope.

Rejoice today.  Let your mouth be filled with laughter and you tongue with shouts of joy.
