“So Jesus answered and said, “Assuredly, I say to you, there is no one who has left house or brothers or sisters or father or mother or wife or children or lands, for My sake and the gospel’s, who shall not receive a hundredfold now in this time…and in the age to come, eternal life. But many who are first will be last, and the last first.”
Mark 10: 29-31
It is so much easier to take the easy way out.
We can choose to avoid uncomfortable situations and to ignore difficult issues. We can blame others for our misfortunes and drown ourselves in a sea of excuses…but, Jesus never took the easy way out.
He subjected Himself to a humiliating and shameful death, so that His purpose would be accomplished. He showed that maturity paves the road to destiny and that obedience keeps us on it.
The only way to reach your destiny is to submit to God’s processing. As God processes you, you will mature in character and be strengthened in your spirit. God’s way may not be the easiest, but it’s the ‘rightest’.
Today, what will you choose?
Option A: Submit yourself to God’s processing and allow Him to deal with the issues of your heart, so that He can trust you with His glory; or
Option B: Resist God’s processing, refuse to mature and allow the enemy to feed your pride, so that he can bring you down when he is ready.
According to God’s will, we will receive back all that we give up for the Kingdom’s sake. You don’t have to fret and take shortcuts, every person who gives God his or her life will find it again and it will be better than anything imagined.
My friend, I encourage you to submit yourself to God; His grace is sufficient for you. Only a willing sacrifice that is broken and blessed by God can be shared with the world and be a blessing to others.
