“But to you who fear My name the Sun of Righteousness shall arise with healing in His wings; And you shall go out and grow fat like stall-fed calves. You shall trample the wicked, For they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet on the day that I do this,” Says the Lord of hosts.” Malachi 4: 2-3
In the famous Broadway play, Annie, the little orphan girl sang, “The sun’ll come out tomorrow, bet your bottom dollar that tomorrow, there’ll be sun. Just thinking about, tomorrow, clears away the cobwebs and the sorrows, ‘till there’s none.” Faced with a life of hardship in the orphanage, Annie visualized her tomorrow, a better day that would come, that enabled her to go through today.
This is a wise principle.
When going through our own storms, we have to look beyond our momentary discomfort and say to ourselves, “This too shall pass.”
If we would look into our tomorrows, we would see that everything that we go through now is for purpose: it’s to make us more like Jesus and mature us into the person we were born to be.
Do not fear what man can do to you or what stands before you, only fear God.
Those who fear – respect and honour God – will see the true sun, the Sun of righteousness arising with healing in His wings. He will heal you of every wound that you have received. Hold on, don’t give up!
In a twinkling of a moment, your dawn will break and you will emerge from the night season in glory. You will be transformed into a powerful, victorious and magnificent being and you will walk on everything that tried to hold you down.
Rejoice today, lift your head and look towards the horizon, the Son has risen and He has raised you up!
