Called-to-Commitment

“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.” 2 Timothy 4:7

“You may encounter many defeats, but you must not be defeated. In fact, it may be necessary to encounter the defeats, so you can know who you are, what you can rise from, how you can still come out of it.” Maya Angelou

Today’s Destiny Word: COMMITMENT

Your life is valuable.

Please don’t forget it. It doesn’t matter what you may face in life, God has created you for a special purpose and He is committed to bringing it to completion in your life.

God is committed to you. God is invested in your success!

Are you?

Here are some questions we must ask ourselves on a regular basis:

  • “Am I committed to my life?”
  • “Am I giving my life the very best of me?”
  • “Am I investing in my life so that it will yield high dividends?”

Commitment is necessary for destiny. As you discover your life’s purpose, you must commit to it.

Yes, difficulties will come… challenges will arise… and there will be a 1000 reasons why you shouldn’t go on, why you shouldn’t take time to learn your true self,  why you shouldn’t pursue your life’s passion. But, commitment will help you through the rough patches. It will help you to push through to achieve your goals.

To commit is to more than just saying “yes” to something. It is to be mentally, emotionally, and physically engaged. It is to know what God desires of you and to give all of you to it.

This is your life. You only get once chance to live it. I encourage you to commit to living your life wholeheartedly. Don’t skimp, don’t cut corners, and please don’t compare your life to someone else’s life. That is destiny suicide.

You are called to be committed. Believe that greater is He that is within you than he that is the world. Trust the God in you and take your life to the next level.

You can start by writing down your commitment to your destiny. Review it daily. Then, if you remain committed, you will be able to say like Paul, “I have finished the race, I  have kept the faith!”

Please, don’t give up on you! You are worth it!

Blessings, Michelle
