“And who knows whether you have not come to the kingdom for such a time as this?” Esther 4:14b ESV
“You don’t just have a story – you’re a story in the making, and you never know what the next chapter’s going to be. That’s what makes it exciting.” Dan Millman
Today’s Destiny Word: STORY
You have a story, and you’re a story in the making.
It is a unique, beautiful, interesting, heart-touching and divinely inspired story. It’s your life’s script with all of your experiences, your relationships, your losses and your triumphs! All of your moments are interwoven into a beautiful piece that is called your story.
There’s a lot about your story that you may not know as yet. You may not know the entirety of the reason why you are here on earth… why you are in the family that you are in, why you were born in a particular country… But, one thing I can guarantee.. is that it’s for purpose. God does nothing without a purpose.
You are a product of purpose.
In the Bible, Esther’s story was a very interesting one. She was an orphan, taken in by a relative, who became Queen of a vast kingdom and then had to plead for the lives of her people, the Jews, who were sentenced to die because they served the one true God.
God ordered her steps to bring her into the Kingdom for a great purpose – to be an agent of deliverance. Her steps were ordained by the Lord.
So too, your steps are ordered. If you would trust that God has a plan for your life and that He is working everything out for your good, you will see, before long, that you are in the Kingdom of God for such a time as this.
Your story is your message. It is the way that God has chosen to reveal His love to you and to others.
My friend, I encourage you today to own your story. It’s yours – written for you by God.
Don’t be ashamed of who you are, what you have come out of or where you are now. Remember, you are also a story in the making! Even the disappointments in life can be your stepping stones to your destiny if you would see them differently.
Your story is powerful. It is your message of God’s hand at work in your life. It can inspire others, comfort others and even empower others. If God brought you through, He can definitely do it for someone else.
Own and celebrate your story, and when you are ready, share your story with others. There is power in telling our stories. It unites and strengthens us to keep pressing on.
My friend, you are an inspiration, don’t you ever forget it!
