Your Word for This Day: Are you Ready for an Adventure?

Tuesday, October 27, 2015

“Make a careful exploration of who you are and the work you have been given, and then sink yourself into that. Don’t be impressed with yourself. Don’t compare yourself with others. Each of you must take responsibility for doing the creative best you can with your own life.” Galatians 6:4-5 MSG

Today’s Destiny Word is: EXPLORE

Are you ready to move?

Are you ready to seek out new land?

Are you ready to explore?

When we think of explorers, a name like Christopher Columbus come to mind.

But do you know that you have the capacity to be a great explorer?

You have spaces to explore, territory to conquer and treasures to discover.

And the greatest territory to explore is your inner territory. It’s time to explore you.

To explore is to look into closely; scrutinize; examine.

The answers you are looking for, the strength that you need, the power that you desire is within.

Within every Believer, the Spirit of God resides, waiting to empower you, give you clarity and the focus that you need so that you can become the person that God has designed you to be and move forward in your destiny.

Are you ready for an adventure. There is so much about you… waiting to be discovered!

Below is some steps from a book “How To Be An Explorer Of The World” by Kerri Smith.  Have a look and try some of these suggestions, adapting as you need to. It may just open up to you a world you never knew existed.

  1. Always Be LOOKING (notice the ground beneath your feet.)
  2. EVERYTHING Is Interesting. Look Closer.
  3. Observe For Long Durations (and short ones).
  4. Notice The Stories Going On Around You.
  6. DOCUMENT Your Findings (field notes) In A Variety Of Ways.
  7. Observe Movement.
  8. Use ALL of the Senses In Your Investigations.

And, as always, we would love to hear how your destiny journey is going. Feel free to email or comment!

Blessings, Michelle
