“The Lord bless you and keep you; The Lord make His face shine upon you, and be gracious to you; the Lord lift up His countenance upon you, and give you peace.”’ Numbers 6:24-26
Today, allow me to remind you of a very important truth: The Lord desires nothing but the best for you.
His thoughts towards you are good and He has plans to bless you, shine upon your life and give you peace.
There are many ways that God blesses us. He makes the way for us to have tangible items such as shelter, food, transport, jobs, etc. He releases His favour on our lives so that we can accomplish what we never thought possible. He delivers us from things that kept us in bondage so that we testify of the grace and goodness of Jesus Christ.
Above all, the best blessing, the blessing that makes all other blessings possible is the blessing of Himself – His very presence in our lives.
The presence of the Lord makes the difference. It’s His face that will shine upon you, and His countenance, His presence, that will bring everything that you need – especially peace.
In a world with increasing conflict, many challenges and much uncertainty, it is only the presence of Jesus in our lives that will give us the peace and confidence that we need not only to live another day, but to walk in victory each day that we live.
My friend, God’s eyes are on you. His presence is with you.
In 2016, let’s make a commitment to trust Him more, to depend on Him more fully, to seek His face more earnestly and to learn His heart. As you begin a new season of your life, acknowledge and give thanks for the blessing of His presence with you, shining on you and guiding you in the paths of righteousness. Enjoy the greatness of this gift!
God’s divine favour rest upon your life in 2016!
