“We are confident of all this because of our great trust in God through Christ.” 2 Corinthians 3:4

Happy Friday! As we reflect on the week that is coming to a close, we can truly say that indeed God is faithful! He has never left our side, not even once – and His love, grace and mercy followed us each moment of the day. Thank you Jesus!

Today, let’s recap what we’ve learned so far…

  • We are made in the image of God and are formed according to His likeness. He has determined who we are and has declared it in His word. We are not who others say we are, but we are what the word says we are.
  • The image that we have of ourselves – how we see and perceive ourselves – is only correct if it matches how God sees us. Once we adjust our image, we must hold it  (keep it steady in our mind) by plugging into the word of God daily and rehearsing what He has said.
  • Not only are we made in the image of God, but as believers in Jesus Christ, we also carry the presence of God in the person of the Holy Spirit dwelling in our hearts.
  • As Jesus lives on the inside of us, He touches our very soul and we become more like Him from the inside out. As we obey His words and submit to the Father’s will for us, we reveal Jesus. We begin to demonstrate what a life surrendered to God looks like and what is possible to those that believe in Him.

My friend, God has done so much for us to be able to walk confidently in life. He doesn’t want us unsure, unsteady and defeated. So, we must continue to believe in His word and trust in Him. We become more confident as our trust in Him deepens. As we trust Jesus more as we journey through life, we become more Godfident, and that makes us strong! He is our confidence and it is He who empowers us to become all were created to be.

To walking Confidently!

Have a fantastic weekend!  Much love and many blessings!

Michelle
