Your Word for This Day: “Strength to Soar”

Monday, February 22, 2016

“But those who trust in the Lord will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint.” Isaiah 40:31 NLT

A blessed Monday to you! I pray that as you begin a new week, that you will see that new strength is available to you. That which you need to stand strong, to walk confidently and to triumph in life has been given to you!

Remember, you are made in the image of God.  You carry the presence of God. You are empowered by the Spirit of God. You can do all things through Christ who strengthens you.

God has empowered you to soar.

As we learn to trust God more and more each day, we are strengthened by Him, and He causes us to mount up with wings like an eagle.  He teaches us how to lean into the wind of His Spirit and flow With Him.

A “God-gives-me-strength-to-soar” mentality will help you to walk confidently through life. Even though your feet may actually be hitting the ground, you know that there is more to you than meets the eye. You are made to go places with God. You are designed for higher heights.  You can soar above situations that try to keep you from fulfilling your destiny!

Come on, today is the day. Yesterday has passed and tomorrow isn’t promised. Let’s trust in the Lord with all our heart and soar with the strength that He gives us.

Your position is not to scratch with pigeons, but to soar with eagles.

Adjust how you see yourself today – You are made to soar. You have the capacity to go high. Don’t let people and situations get you down. There is a great horizon before you, and wind beneath your wings. Spread your wings, you eagle, you!

Blessings!
Michelle
