Your Word for This Day: “What I Have to Offer”

“God has given each of you a gift from his great variety of spiritual gifts. Use them well to serve one another.” 1 Peter 4:10 NLT

Magnanimity

A Happy Thursday to you!

Today, I am here to remind you that you are a fully-loaded package!

God has given to you gifts – abilities and talents, that make you uniquely you. There are things that you can do, in the way that only you can do it, and the world needs what you have to offer.

It has been said before that the talent God has given us is His gift to us, and what we do with the talent is our gift to God. God has given us talents and we are to serve them for His glory.

So, what have you been doing with your gifts?

Did you know that you hold the solution to some problem in this world? Do you know that you were created to perform a specific function in God’s Kingdom? Yes, it’s true!

Don’t think that you have to be an expert in a particular field to be able to offer assistance. Neither do you have to have it perfectly altogether before offering encouragement or a helping hand to someone who is struggling.

God asks us to be available and willing and He will help us to see opportunities where we can be a blessing to others. And, He will also strengthen us to be able to serve our gifts.
You may be thinking, “What do I have to offer?” But, believe me when I say this, everyone has something to offer. Every talent is needed.

Paul goes on to ask, “Do you have the gift of speaking? Then speak as though God himself were speaking through you. Do you have the gift of helping others? Do it with all the strength and energy that God supplies. Then everything you do will bring glory to God through Jesus Christ. All glory and power to him forever and ever! Amen.” (Verse 11)

My friends, whatever talent you have, whether it be speaking, teaching, sewing, baking, cleaning, organizing, administrating, crunching numbers, carpentry, or styling hair, use it! Do it with the best you have to offer. Be a blessing to someone today!  It’s all for the glory of our God!

Have a great day!

Michelle
