Your Word for This Day: “The Dawning of a New Day of Faithfulness”

Monday, June 27, 2016

“Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good; Blessed is the man who trusts in Him!” Psalm 34:8

It’s a brand new day. Today, God’s mercies are new towards you for His faithfulness is great. He is watching over His word concerning you and will perform it. Every promise that He has made to you is sure and He is working things out right now for your good!  Oh yes, our God is the FAITHFUL God!

My friend, faithfulness matters.

If God were to stop being faithful to His word, then we wouldn’t have anything to look forward to – we would be without hope! But, thank God that He is faithful to the end, and will not change.

Our heavenly Father is faithful, and we, His children, must be faithful too! Our faithfulness matters. If we are to please God, if we are to become all that we were born to be and make a difference in this world, we must be faithful. Faithful to God, and faithful in our service to Him.

I pray that this will be the dawning of a new day of faithfulness in our lives

Let us choose to “upgrade” and challenge ourselves to be faithful stewards of God’s resources, faithful servants in God’s Kingdom, faithful lovers of God’s people and faithful ambassadors of the Gospel of Christ.

May it be the cry of our hearts to be faith-FULL and FAITHful.

And if you would join me, let’s declare over our lives that we are growing in faithfulness. We are maturing as children of God and becoming more obedient, more confident, more resilient! Our faith in God is rising and our trust in Him is deepening. We will not be shaken and we will not be moved. We are standing strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. We are becoming more tenacious as God is increasing our capacity to be more like Jesus!

Wherever your level of faithfulness was yesterday, thank God for it, and raise the roof of your expectation today! The Holy Spirit is ready to help you to walk out your “yes” to God in a bold, fresh way.

I declare the blessings of God upon you as you begin this new week.
