And David said, “What have I done now? Is there not a cause?” 1 Samuel 17: 29

Have you ever felt like you wanted to give up? You encountered some difficulty or came face to face with a giant, a looming-menacing-brutish Goliath and you just felt like the battle wasn’t worth it?

God has given you a purpose to accomplish, a destiny to fulfill, and as you begin to pursue it, it is inevitable that you will across something that will try to deter you and throw you off track.

But don’t give in. Don’t fall for it. Press through. Stay focused. Victory is yours!

One thing we must be mindful of is this… To achieve our goals and live victoriously, we need “unity in me”. We need all of us – all parts of our selves- to come into agreement. If we are not in internal alignment with what we want out of life, and we are living with doubt, fear and a lack of focus, we will get knocked down by the easiest thing. Just the voice of Goliath will cause us to retreat. The opinions of others will cause us to  doubt the power of our God.  The economy will cause us to stop short of the prize. Even the weather will cause us to  stay put instead of doing what needs to be done.

We need unity for victory.

Just look at David… He came face to face with Goliath and he knew he could take him down. There was a cause, an important purpose and he never doubted that He and God could get the victory. And He gave it everything he had!

Today, take a moment and reflect on your life. What do you really want to do or become? What dreams are in your heart, and how are you going after them? Is all of you aligned towards this purpose? Do you engage all of you in the pursuit of it  by believing, visualizing, declaring, praying and working on it?

It’s your purpose. Your destiny. You’ve got to give it all that you’ve got. And if you do, you will see that what you are able to achieve by the grace of God is greater than anything you could have imagined!

Blessings!
