Your Word for This Day: “Living a Fulfilled Life”

“For I know the thoughts that I think towards you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you an expected end.” Jeremiah 29:11Live-1024x764

God knows the thoughts that He thinks towards us.  Do you know the thoughts that He thinks towards you? Are you confident in God’s love for you? It does not matter what comes your way today or what the enemy may try to get you to think or accept, God’s thoughts towards you are thoughts of peace.

What are thoughts of peace?  We often perceive thoughts of peace to be thoughts that make everything all right…however, as His thoughts are higher than our thoughts, God’s concept of peace is quite different from our own.

Peace – Shalom means nothing broken, missing or lacking. When God says that His thoughts are of peace, He is actually declaring to us that He constantly thinks of ways of prospering and elevating us to the position that is ordained for us. God wants to bless us more than we want to be blessed.  He does not want us living lives of defeat and lack in any area whatsoever.

Today, rest in the fact that your Father, the One who made the heavens and the earth, is thinking thoughts of peace, of wholeness, of prosperity, of healing and of love towards you.  He has an expected end for you. It is not a surprising end, rather, an end that has been carefully and wonderfully designed and decreed before the foundation of the world specifically for you.

Today is the first day of the rest of your life.  Watch God hasten His word to perform it in you.

Prayer: Lord, I thank You for Your thoughts towards me.  Help me to receive and believe them for myself. Help me to walk in this truth from now on.  Amen.
