“He gives power to the weak and strength to the powerless. But those who trust in the Lord will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint.” Isaiah 40:29, 31 NLT
Paul had a situation in his life, he needed to be healed. He did what all believers should do in times of need; he went to God for Him to remedy the situation. God spoke to the Apostle Paul saying, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.”
God did not heal Paul, but instead, told him that His grace was enough to see him through. The fact that God’s grace and strength was available to him brought Paul all the comfort he needed and he was able to continue his work for the Lord.
Are you in the same position? Do you feel weak and burdened? Do the cares and pains of this life seem to weigh you down? Then do what Paul did and receive what he received. God gives power to all who are faint, tired and weary. You do not have to continue feeling this way. Draw from your Father’s bottomless well of power. He has made it available to you. It is free and it is guaranteed to provide the needed results.
Run into God today and let Him increase your strength. Wait on Him. Wait for Him. He will come and help you. You will be able to climb every mountain and walk through every valley.
Run to the Rock of your salvation and let Him renew your strength. Let Him teach you how to mount up with wings like eagles so that you will not become weary or faint. The impossible will become possible as you invite God to come in and take control of every situation that is causing you distress. Trust your God to empower and strengthen you to continue your journey towards your destiny.
Lord, today I need help to believe Your Word. Lord I believe, but please help my unbelief. I need You to come and pick me up today Lord and carry me on Your shoulders. I am relying on You to come through for me as You said in your word. I thank You Lord for Your help and Your grace. Amen.
