“Rejoice in the Lord always: and again I say, Rejoice.” Philippians 4:4
This is the day that God has made, let us rejoice and be glad in it! What a beautiful way to begin this day, and any other day that you see the rising of the sun. Truly God is good to us. Truly He has done great things. Yes, we will give Him praise and lift His name on high.
Today, unlike any other day, let the high praises of God be in your mouth. Come on, lift your voice, clap your hands and give a shout of triumph and victory. Do not count the problems. Count the blessings. Instead of focusing on what you do not have, enjoy what you do have. Look at your fingers, toes, eyes, ears. Come on, count your blessings. Do as the old hymn said, “Name them one by one.” You will be surprised at what the Lord has done for you.
Praise is a weapon of war.
In Psalm 149, verse 6 it is described as a two-edged sword. The enemy hates it when we praise, so make him mad. Praise the Lord with all your strength.
Remember Paul and Silas. They were beaten and locked away in the deepest part of the prison. Their bodies were hurting, but their voices were heard. At the midnight hour, true praises poured from their lips. All heard it. All the other prisoners heard and were blessed without even knowing it. God manifested Himself because He inhabits the praises of His people. When you praise and rejoice God will turn up for you. He will send an ambush. He will send help. He will give you ideas and solutions to deal with your situations.
There is power in praise. There is victory in praise. There is healing in praise. There is deliverance in praise. There is anointing in praise.
Come on, my friend, let us Praise the Lord!!!!!!!
Father, I praise You. I rejoice in Your love and Your goodness. I bless Your holy name. Lord, You are good and Your mercies endure forever. Lord, I lift Your name on high today. I give You a high note of praise that You truly deserve. Lord, I will continue to bless and praise You for the rest of my days. Live in my praises Lord and rejoice over me with singing and dancing today. Amen.
