Your Word for This Day: “Victory IN the Blood”

Wednesday, September 21, 2016

“…and from Jesus Christ. He is the faithful witness to these things, the first to rise from the dead, and the ruler of all the kings of the world. All glory to him who loves us and has freed us from our sins by shedding his blood for us.” Revelation 1:5

Our victory is in the shed blood of Jesus Christ.

Our sins are washed away or removed from our accounts because of the blood.

Without the blood, there is no forgiveness of our sin.  Are your sins forgiven because of the blood?  Do you accept that forgiveness on a daily basis or does the enemy cause you to live in regret and condemnation because of your past behaviour or actions?

My friends, the blood was shed for you and I to walk in total freedom.  Jesus paid it all on the cross when His blood flowed freely and willingly out of His body so that you and I can have the victory.

Stop right now, and declare the wonder-working power of the blood of Jesus Christ over your life, over your sins and mistakes, your failures and your defeat.

Allow the blood to do its work right now.

Thank God for the blood that still speaks on your behalf in every area of your life. Especially in this area of sin.

Jesus loves you so much that He ensured that nothing will separate you from Him.  The choice is yours as it is mine.  Would you be free from your burdens of sin? There is power in the blood of Jesus Christ. Your victory is in the blood.

Use it today.

  1. Reblogged this on Call to Witness and commented:
Before Jesus came into the world, we were separated from God by the gap called sin. This gap was so immense that nothing made by man can cross it. It was something that only God can cross.
When Christ came into the world, it was like God shooting a life line to humanity. The death of Jesus on the cross filled the gap between God and mankind allowing people to be reunited with the love of God. All that is required from us is to accept this gift of salvation offered by the blood of Christ.
The blood of Christ covers up all our shame from sin. Let us embrace this and move forward in our walk with God knowing that we are redeemed. It is very comforting to know that our debt to God is paid and I am extremely grateful to Christ for paying it all. I will therefore do as He commands out of appreciation for what He has done for me.
