“He makes me to lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters.” Psalm 23:2
God chooses the best places for us to rest – in green pastures. Green represents peace and well- being.
Picture a flat fertile plain covered with rich green grass. A place where sheep can eat all they want and more. That is the kind of place that our Shepherd leads us to so that we can rest, and be satisfied, at the same time.
Everything that the Shepherd does for us, or gives us, is always the best. We are always on the heart of the Shepherd and His banner over us is always love.
The Shepherd takes us to a place where everything is fertile and fresh. Only the best for His children. Only the best for His sheep.
There is no shortage of food in the green pastures. We must appreciate this fact: Wherever our Shepherd make us go, there would be no lack, no poverty or shortage of the things that we have need of. Wherever He guides us, he would provide for us.
David was confident of that and we, too, must be confident of that. Our Shepherd would not disappoint us or cause us to go hungry.
He can be trusted to provide the best for us.
Today, picture yourself relaxing in green lush pastures where all your needs are met and you have more than you need right now. No matter what you are going through use your spiritual senses and step into the realm of abundance.
I have entered in the rest of God, therefore everything I have need of has been released.
