Your Word for This Day: “My Cup Runs Over”

“And God will generously provide all you need. Then you will always have everything you need and plenty left over to share with others.” 2 Corinthians 9:8 NLT

my-cup-runs-over

Picture a cup, whether large or small and see it being filled so much, so that the liquid in it is spilling over its sides.  What an overflow. What abundance is ours from our Shepherd.

In the field, the shepherd would have a large cup called a shepherd’s cup.  It was made from a hollowed –out stone that could hold forty or fifty gallons and from which the sheep drank.

Can you imagine that?

My friend, there is no lack in God.

God is blessing you until you could hold no more.  The blessings will meet you and overtake you. God always gives us more than we can ask or think (Eph. 3:20).

He is an exceeding abundant God.  Today, see your cup running over with the goodness of God.  See the cup of your finances running over with the blessings of God that makes rich and adds no sorrow to it.

See your body running over with good health.

See your ministry running over with spiritual growth and maturity.

See your family running over with unity, love and all good blessings.

He is your Shepherd.  He has come so that you may have life and have it more abundantly.  That is the running over kind of life.  The life where you are above only and not beneath. Where you are the head and not the tail. The life where you will have to lend and not borrow (Deut. 28: 1-14).

See your anointing increasing.  Watch your wisdom overflow your mind.  Rejoice as your peace superimposes itself on all your anxieties.  Your strength has increased and so you are able to run through the enemy and still stand.

Everything that concerns you is in the overflow mode.  It is the will of your Shepherd that you walk in the overflow.  Thank Him for your overflow. Give the praises to Him for He is good!

Today’s Affirmation

I serve a great God. My God will supply all my needs according to His overflowing riches.  I walk in obedience to His work, and I am positioned to receive the overflow.  My cup is running over with blessings.
