“This I recall to my mind, Therefore I have hope.Through the Lord’s mercies we are not consumed, Because His compassions fail not. They are new every morning; Great is Your faithfulness.” Lamentations 3:21-23
There is something about new things that bring a sense of excitement and hope. It is as if with the new thing, we have been given another chance to achieve, to overcome, or to even conquer some habit that has been plaguing our lives. Yes, there is much expectation when we receive something new.
No limits and no boundaries. With God on our side all things are possible. Every morning we experience God’s new mercies. His new strength, His new wisdom, His new compassion, His new enablement and the list goes on and on. As the scripture clearly states, morning after morning new mercies we receive.
Today, is no exception. As you continue to pursue your God given destiny, know that you have new strength to endure, new speed to run, new courage so that you will not give up and new faith to persevere knowing that your pot of gold is waiting for you at the end of the tunnel.
Every day that we are allowed to live, God has new and wonderful things in store for us. Shift your focus and begin to enjoy the newness of life so that you will maximize each new day that you receive as a gift from the Lord.
Forget yesterday. Enjoy today. Don’t miss the new mercies that are coming your way.
