Your Word for This Day: “You Are Loved”

Monday, April 24, 2017

The Lord has appeared of old to me, saying:“Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love; Therefore with lovingkindness I have drawn you.””  Jeremiah 31:3

Do you know how much you are loved by God?  Do you appreciate the fact that the creator of the Universe loves you so much that He died for you?  Maybe your experiences are trying to get you to believe that nobody cares about you, but nothing is further from the truth.  You are loved.  God loves you. What you are experiencing or have experienced cannot change the fact that you are loved.  You are loved by God and there is nothing you can do to change that fact.

You are loved just as you are.

You are loved just where you are.

You are loved more than you know.

Oh what manner of love the father has given to us….

God did not wait for us to get all cleaned up and dressed up to start loving us.  He loved us from the start.  He loved us in our mess.  He loved us in all the wrong choices that we may have made.  His love keeps pursuing us.  It does not matter how many bad days and nights you may be experiencing right now, the fact you are loved  and no amount of mistakes can erase that fact.

You are loved.

Now sit back, take a deep breath and let that truth  flow over you and into you.  Say to yourself right now: “I am loved. God loves me. I love me.”

It’s an amazing fact, but it’s the truth.

You don’t have to prove anything to anyone.  You can be content with being you, because you are loved right where you are and just as you are.

Declare this over your life today: I am loved by the Creator of the Universe. I am loved by life itself.  I am loved!
