Hello Friend,
As I sit to write to you today, a verse of scripture keeps playing in my mind:
“The joy of the Lord is your strength.” (Nehemiah 8:10)
When was the last time you and God had a good laugh?
It is amazing how we get so laden with the cares of the world that we neglect the simple pleasures of life, like laughter.
The Bible says that laughter is a good medicine. Not only that, but, as you experience God’s joy you are strengthened.
It does not matter how serious your situation is, or challenging your circumstances are, if you will tap into the joy of God you will be strengthened.
Worrying weakens you. It causes you to wither and die on the inside although you may be walking around and still going about your day.
You were not made to worry. You were made to believe and have faith. Your strength is in your faith. Your strength is in the joy you experience in your God.
You are strong.
You may not feel strong or even look strong, but that’s okay. We do not live by feelings or sight. We live by the word of God.
Tap into the joy of the Lord. Get into the presence of God. In His presence there is fullness of joy.
As you chat with Him and share your concerns with Him, He will give you peace and joy in return. And with the joy comes your strength. My friend, you are strong!
Be strong in your God. He lives inside of you. He has all power and He will release that power to you.
