Your Word for This Day: “Joy + Love + Faith = POWER!”

Friday, May 5, 2017

“Though you have not seen him, you love him; and even though you do not see him now, you believe in him and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy.” 1 Peter 1:8 NIV

Faith is essential. Faith is powerful.

Faith enables us to live this life in Christ and to become the people who we are destined to be. Although we have yet to see Jesus in the flesh, because we believe in Him we are filled with inexpressible and glorious joy.  Do you get that?

Inexpressible… “a feeling too strong to be described or conveyed in words”.

Glorious…”having, worthy of, or bringing fame or admiration”.

Faith in Jesus causes us to be filled with joy that is beyond comprehension. Are you living with that type of joy? Are you experiencing the strength that comes from the joy of the Lord?

Remember, joy and faith go hand-in-hand.

So, today, I encourage you:

  • Don’t let go of your faith.
  • Don’t compromise your faith.
  • Don’t neglect your faith.

Instead:

  • Hold fast to your faith.
  • Stand on your faith.
  • Fuel your faith with the word of God.

When we begin to doubt God, we begin to doubt our very life source.

And Jesus came that you may have life and have it more abundantly!

My friend, this is my prayer for you:

“May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.” Romans 15:13

Joy, Power and Faith. What a powerful combination!

Make a decision to fully enjoy this life that Christ has given to you and bask in the joy that He provides. It is yours in Him!
