“Know that the Lord, He is God! It is He who made us, and we are His; we are His people, and the sheep of His pasture.” Psalm 100:3
Your power lies in being the true you. The “you” that God created you to be.
Yes, because of the pressure of society, friends, peers and even at times family, we can sometimes try to be like other people. We see others who, in our eyes, have achieved more, are doing more, and have attained more success.
There is nothing wrong in admiring others. What is wrong is when we decide that we do not want to be who God created us to be, rather we want to be the people we admire.
So many spend their time and money patterning after the role model in their lives. They walk like them and talk like them. They dress like them and try in every way possible to be them.
Why be a cheap imitation when you can be a designer’s original?
Determine today, to walk in the knowledge that you are only powerful when you are true to yourself.
Walk in the power of knowing that God invested things in you that only you carry.
You are the designer’s original.
Value who you are.
