Your Word for This Day: “I Will Not Fear”

Tuesday, October 17, 2017

“I will not be afraid of ten thousands of people who have set themselves against me all around.” Psalm 3:6

Fear is an emotion that has developed within God’s children everywhere in the world.  Many of us can quote 2 Timothy 1:7 that states, “For God did not give us a spirit of fear, but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.”  Yet with all the knowledge that we have, we have not been able to defeat the spirit of fear! What is it about fear that is so addictive and transferable?  Why is it easier to fear than to trust?

Living in the physical world causes us to put more emphasis on the things that are seen and experienced, than on the things that are written in God’s Word and the reality of His Spirit. Even if in the natural realm there seems to be ten thousand people against you, if you would only use your spiritual senses you would realize that there are more for you than be against you.

Will you refuse to be afraid, and go forth in the strength of the Lord today?  Remember there are more angels on assignment to protect and minister to you, than the enemies that may rise up against you. In this be confident!

Father, in the name of Jesus, I pray that You would open the eyes of my understanding so that I may know without a doubt that You are with me, Your rod and staff will continue to comfort and guide me every day of my life. Amen

Your Word for This Day: “There is NOTHING too hard…for God!”

Tuesday, October 3, 2017

“I am the Lord, the God of all the peoples of the world. Is anything too hard for me?” Jeremiah 32: 27

There is NOTHING too hard for the Lord.

He is the God of the Universe. The One who created the heavens and the earth. The Supreme Master and Original Inventor of all things.  He is the Controller and Director of life’s Journey. He knows where we are at every stage of our journey. He is in control of the vehicle that we are travelling in. All we have to do is trust Him.

Whether we are twenty, sixty or eighty years old, God is still in control and He is working things out His way on our behalf. We must choose to trust Him with our journey.  We must decide that God uses the challenges and obstacles to bring us to the place that He has designed for us to be.

Yes, we have a choice to make. Which choice would you choose? Would go choose to trust in Him and stand on His word, or to give up hope and just go with life?

If we make the right choice, God will turn up and make the change in our situations. It is His will for us to be victors and not victims. Remember that everything about us was pre-arranged before we were created. God would not let anything destroy His plan and purpose for our lives. His will must be accomplished. His word cannot return to Him empty.

Your Word for This Day: “Living the Abundant Life Now!”

Friday, September 29, 2017

“The thief’s purpose is to steal and kill and destroy. My purpose is to give them a rich and satisfying life.” John 10:10

Happy Friday to You! We trust that this morning you are enjoying the blessing of life that has been granted to you by your Heavenly Father who loves you so much!

If you are a follower of this devotion, you will realize that there are certain scriptures that resurface regularly, because we want to make sure that all of our readers come into a full awareness of what Christ has done for us. Today’s scripture is one of those. It is a reminder that God’s plan for you is to live the ABUNDANT LIFE, or as another version states… a rich and satisfying life. It is a reminder that this life is found only in Christ. And, it reminds us that there is an opposing force, a mutual enemy, who concentrates all of his energy, time and resources to ensure that we don’t experience fully that life.

That’s why we have to be so much more determined, committed and focused on staying with Jesus, and drawing from Him everything that we need. Today, we declare God’s word over us with boldness – we will access all that He has made available to us, with no apology!

Daily Declaration:

  • By the blood of Jesus I am free! I am free from the slavery of sin, from condemnation, guilt, and shame. I am free from the ways and effects of death. I have life in Jesus! (Romans 8:1).
  • I have ceased being a people pleaser. I am a God-pleaser (Galatians 1:10).
  • Jesus loved me enough to die for me so that He could live in me and do His works of faith in and through me. I can do nothing without Him. I have stopped trying to do things in my strength. Jesus is my strength (Galatians 2:20).
  • I am the apple of God’s eye (Zechariah 2:8).
  • God rejoices over me with shouts of joy (Zephaniah 3).
  • I am a precious child of God, growing up to be a mature son/daughter of the Most High God (John 1:12; Rom. 8:14).
  • For God has not given us a spirit of timidity, but of power and love and discipline (1 Tim. 1:7).
  • …As He is, so also am I in this world. There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear… (1 John 4:17-18).
  • Since Jesus, the Lion of Judah, lives in me, I am bold as a lion (Proverbs 28:1).
  • And I know that God causes all things to work together for my good because I love the Lord and I am called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28).
  • Whatever anyone means for evil against me, God will turn it around for good, to preserve my life and many people’s live (Gen. 50:20).

In Christ Jesus’ name!

Your Word for This Day: “The Power to Create Wealth”

Thursday, September 28, 2017

“And you shall remember the Lord your God, for it is He who gives you power to get wealth, that He may establish His covenant which He swore to your fathers, as it is this day.” Deuteronomy 8:18

As children of God, we have are abundantly blessed! We have His Spirit within us, His love surrounds us, and He has given us the power to create wealth. In God’s word, we learn about His mind concerning wealth and finances and that is what we declare over our lives today.

Daily Declaration:

God has given me the ability to have wealth for the Word says, “Remember the Lord your God, for it is He who gives you power to get wealth” (Deut. 8:18), and the Word is true and will not return to God empty (Isaiah 55:11).

I declare that I am anointed to prosper financially and to use my finances for the advancing of the Kingdom of God.

I cancel the effects of every generational curse of poverty in Jesus’ name.  I set myself free by applying the blood of Jesus Christ, from every and all alliance with every generational curse of poverty.

I am a new creation in Christ, and so, I walk in victory in my finances.

I declare that I have the Spirit of wisdom living in me. I know how to conduct my affairs wisely and so see the rewards of my labour with the help of the Lord.

I am a giver. I give liberally, and so, I shall receive liberally. for the word of God says, “Whatever a man sows, that he shall reap” (Galatians 6:7).

By faith I call my finances restored.  I am prosperous, and full of God’s abundance according to the Lord Jesus Christ’s plan for my life (Jeremiah 29:11).

In Christ Jesus’ name. Amen!

Your Word for This Day: “I am Blessed and Anointed!”

Friday, September 15, 2017

“The Spirit of the Lord God is upon Me, Because the Lord has anointed Me to preach good tidings to the poor He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to those who are bound.” Isaiah 61: 1

Happy Friday to you! This is a reminder for you: You are blessed by God and anointed to do great things for Him on the earth. Whatever He has asked of you, know that He has given you the grace and empowered you to do it.

Let’s declare:

Father, in the name of Your Son Jesus, and by the power of the Holy Spirit, I declare that I am Your child and a chosen member of the Body of Christ.

I speak Your word over my life.  I declare that the Spirit of the Lord God is upon me and He has anointed me to operate in His Kingdom.  I declare that I am anointed for purpose, and that purpose is unfolding every minute in my life.

Lord, because I belong to You, I am anointed to destroy the works of the enemy in my life that would seek to hinder and obstruct my progress in the things of God and cause me to be a stumbling block to myself.

As I advance, I am divinely empowered and increasing in skill and understanding. The Spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of God (Eph. 1:17) is operating mightily in my life and I am becoming the powerful saint of God that I was created to be.

In Jesus’ name, Amen!

Your Word for This Day: “I Declare Pt. 2”

Wednesday, September 13, 2017

“By faith, we see the world called into existence by God’s word, what we see created by what we don’t see.” Hebrews 11:3 MSG

Everything that we look around and see today was initially created by God. He spoke and it came into being.  As created beings, we also have creative power. We can use the word of God to create our personal worlds. What we confess, we will possess.

Today, we continue with declarations for our lives that will help us to live the abundant life that Christ has brought to us.  We speak these words by faith, believing that God’s plans for us are the very best and as we align our thinking with His word, we will begin to see that which He has prepared for us.

Daily Declarations Part 2

I DECLARE it is not too late to accomplish everything God has placed in my heart. I have not missed my window of opportunity. I am walking in power and purpose. God is preparing me right now because He is about to release a special grace to help me accomplish the purpose that He has for me. This is my time. This is my moment. I receive it today!

I DECLARE I am grateful for who God is in my life and for what He’s done. I will not take for granted the people, the opportunities, and the favour He has blessed me with. I will look at what is right and not at what is wrong. I will thank Him for what I have and not complain about what I don’t have. I will see each day as a gift from God. My heart will overflow with praise and gratitude for all of His goodness.

I DECLARE a legacy of faith over my life. I declare that I will store up blessings for future generations. My life is marked by excellence and integrity. Because I’m making right choices and taking steps of faith, others will want to follow me. God’s abundance is surrounding my life today and every day that I live.

Your Word for This Day: “I am Focused and Purpose Driven!”

Friday, August 25, 2017

“Commit your work to the Lord, and your plans will be established.” Proverbs 16:3

Happy Friday! Here’s a simple reminder that we are to be focused on the purpose that God has given to each one of us and not be distracted by the cares and evils of this world. Use it as a declaration and proclaim it confidently over your life. You are blessed!

I am focused on my purpose.

I was put on earth to win.

I will triumph over evil,

I am sure that I will win.

I am focused on my purpose,

Though I do not have all the parts.

I know that as I trust Jesus

He will lead me in the path.

I am focused on my purpose,

I am sure that I will win,

For the One who has created me,

Built me from within.

Today, I am focused and I will win.
