Your Word for This Day: “I’m Safe in His Hands”

Wednesday, December 20, 2017

“But now, O Lord, You are our Father; We are the clay, and You our potter; and all we are the work of Your hand.” Isaiah 64:8

In the midst of the storms of life, God wants us to praise Him. When we don’t understand what’s going on in a particular season of our lives, we must continue to give God thanks because He is in control.

Whatever season we are walking through, remember that He is working it out and most importantly, He is working in us. God is shaping and forming us into the very image of His beloved Son Jesus Christ.

It is God’s desire that we reflect the character of Jesus and to do this, we must give all of ourselves to Him. He is the Potter. And He is shaping and moulding us into a vessel that pleases Him. I encourage you to yield to the process because you are safe in His hands. God is a master at making us into who He wants us to be.

Today’s Declaration: I submit to the hands of the Father. He is moulding and shaping me into a vessel that He can use.

Your Word for This Day: “Living a Glory Filled Life”

Friday, November 10, 2017

“Arise, Jerusalem! Let your light shine for all to see. For the glory of the Lord rises to shine on you.” Isaiah 60:1

What is it that distinguishes the children of God from the children of the world?  It is the glory of their God that is risen upon them. Once you have experienced God’s glory, you cannot be the same.  It releases you from every bond and every chain that entangles you.

When you experience God’s glory, you must arise. You must arise above every spirit of fear, anger, unforgiveness, jealousy, envy, malice and the like.  The enemy has no hold on a child of God who has experienced His glory.

God’s glory enables you to shine for Him everywhere you go so that men would know who Jesus is. Each person experiences the glory of God in a unique and different way.  Your experience with God will allow your light to come to you in a way that is tailor-made for you.  Don’t miss ‘your’ light.  Jesus is the Light of the world but He is also your personal light.  Allow Him to come to you and as He comes, He brings His glory.

In His glory there is everything you need to live the life of Christ.  Let Him come in. Let Him cover you with His glory. Then and only then, will you be able to arise and shine in this dark world.

Lord, I need to shine for You more.  Please visit me today and touch my heart so that I can experience Your glory in a new way.  Thank You, Lord, for making provision for me to receive You into my life on a continuous basis. I love You Lord and I will let Your glory be risen on me today.  Amen.

Your Word for This Day: “Accurate Representation”

Thursday, August 3, 2017

“Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ’s behalf, be reconciled to God.” 2 Corinthians 5:20

Have you ever been chosen to represent your school, workplace, church or company at an event? Well, if so, you know that it is a great honour to do so. You become the face of whatever your are representing and how you conduct yourself will reflect on the organization.

When God made you, He made you to represent Him on the earth.

When someone trusts you to represent them, you must not take that charge lightly. It is a great honour. And, to ensure that we represent God accurately,  He gave a manual to help us to do so.

How are you representing the One who made you and gave you your identity?

Be sure that you are bringing glory to Him by being the best that you can be, wherever you are, and doing whatever He has asked of you.

We can accurately represent the One who gave us life. He has given us His word and His Spirit to help us.

Let’s make the effort to be an accurate representation of our heavenly Father. It is worth the effort for it produces great blessings.

Your Word for This Day: “Father, into Your Hands…”

Friday, April 14, 2017

And when Jesus had cried out with a loud voice, He said, “Father, into Your hands I commit My spirit.’” Having said this, He breathed His last.”  Luke 23:46

Early one afternoon, before the sun was setting, the King of Glory was being mutilated. His visage was marred, His body was pierced, His clothing was torn, His blood was being shed.  It was an awful sight, the men beat Him with all their might.

But, He took everything without putting up a fight. Stop and think for a moment of His plight.

He did it for you, He did it for me.

All Jerusalem was involved as the King of Glory was taken to Calvary.

Then in the thickening silence, came the pounding of the hammer, as the nails were driven into the flesh of the Master.

He cried out in pain, as nail after nail, found its way into His flesh as he grimaced and wailed.

“Father forgive them, for they know not what they do!” were the words that He uttered.  He was talking about me.  He was talking about you.

His blood sets us free to be who we were born to be, to live free from sin and have access to the King.

What Adam sold in the Garden was redeemed through Calvary.

Now we have a new Eden and we walk in total victory.

His blood gives us the power to overcome the enemy, to walk in dominion and enforce Jesus’ authority.

What does Calvary mean to you?

What does Calvary mean to me?

Calvary spells our victory, our dominion, our authority and it secured our eternity.

Thank you Jesus for dying, for leaving heaven and providing a way for me to be a king and priest so that I could rule and reign with you forever. Thank you, Jesus!

Your Word for This Day: “Focus on my Focus”

Friday, March 31, 2017

Jesus came and told his disciples, “I have been given all authority in heaven and on earth. Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”” Matthew 28:18-20 ERV

The prophecies of old. The birth in a manager. The young boy in the Temple. The temptation in the wilderness. The water into wine. The healings, and miracles and deliverances. The prayer in the Garden. The betrayal. The crucifixion. His love poured out. The weeping women at the tomb. The earthquake. The stone rolled away. The Risen Saviour with holes in His hands and a wound in His side. The meeting with the disciples. The joy and the fear. The impartation. The authority given. The power released. The Great Commission. His Kingdom come. His will be done, on earth just as it is in heaven.

We have been commissioned by Jesus to share the good news of His Kingdom on earth. There is hope. There is everlasting life. There is power to overcome the forces of darkness.

Today, let’s remind ourselves of what we have been called to do as believers of Jesus Christ. Let’s focus on what’s most important in the grand scheme of life— To know Jesus Christ and to make Him known. It’s all about Jesus!

Your Word for This Day: “A Word from The Lord: EXPECT”

Friday, March 24, 2017

Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.”  Isaiah 43:19

So many times we do not receive because we do not believe and because we do not believe we cannot expect.  Without expectancy there is no receiving.

Let’s look at it practically.  Say for example, a delivery van pulled up to the front of your place of residence today with all new appliances and furniture, saying that they were all yours.  Would you sign the slip for receiving the items and let them be placed in your home?  I am sure you will not.  Why?  Because you were not expecting any new furniture and did not arrange to have them delivered.  You will send the delivery man back with them.

The same is true for God’s blessings.  When He blesses us, we don’t receive them because we did not expect them.  We did not believe that they would come and may times we did not even ask for them because somewhere deep inside of us we do not believe that God loves us enough to give us the things that He has promised. At times, we may even think that what we need is too much for God to do.  Strange, but true.

Let me encourage you today to start expecting mighty and exciting blessings from God. God wants to bless you more than you can ask, think or even imagine.  Anything you can imagine, God can do a billion, trillion times more than that.

It’s a new season. God is doing a new thing.  He wants you to know it so that you can receive it and walk confidently in it. This is your year of ABUNDANCE! God is revealing this to you now because it is time for you to expect so that you can receive.  Let your expectancy be in God and watch Him shock you with His goodness.

Your Word for This Day: “Growing in Wisdom”

Monday, March 20, 2017

“Jesus grew in wisdom and in stature and  in favor with God and all the people.  Luke 2:52

Jesus increased in wisdom and in stature, in favour with God and man.  Are we following the same pattern of maturity?  Are we pursuing maturity to such an extent that we are dissatisfied when we realized that we have ended the day just as we began it, not having grown in any given area?

True Christianity is one of change and growth in a positive way.  There are many who have changed, but they have changed for the worst and not for the better.  That must not be said of children of God.

Like Jesus, we must change in a positive way.   Each day must bring us closer to the true picture of ourselves as seen through the eyes of our Father.  We must be intentional about our spiritual growth and development.

Let us endeavor to bring glory to God by evolving and becoming the person God had in mind when He created us. No more excuses. No more delay.  The kingdom is for those who desire to become who they were designed to be.

May we all experience unprecedented acceleration in the area of our spiritual growth.  Let’s go from glory to glory in God.
