Your Word for This Day: “Destiny Calls”

Friday, August 18, 2017

“The Lord will fulfill His purpose for me; your steadfast love, O Lord, endures forever. Do not forsake the work of your hands.” Psalm 138: 8

You are a child of the King, His blood flows in you.  His DNA is yours, you are above, not below at all.

You have a purpose and a destiny to fulfill for humanity.  You do not live unto yourself, you are part of a greater picture.

Realize today that you must be quick to obey.

You must do what you have to do to fulfill your vision and walk in your true identity.

There is no time to delay.  There is no time to waste.  God is depending on you to respond to the call He has for you.

Your purpose must be fulfilled no matter the cost.  Turn away from all sin, get rid of all limiting mindsets, confront your fears and let destiny be your path.

This is the day, this is the time, this is the season, there is no time for the past.

Destiny calls.

Your Word for This Day: “More Than a Conqueror!”

Thursday, August 17, 2017

“Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.” Romans 8:37

The Bible gives us a list of things that will come up against us and cause us at times to stumble and fall, but it also goes on to say that despite what we go through, we are more than a conqueror, not because of ourselves, but because of whose we are.

We belong to Jesus Christ.

And, because we belong to Him, His strength is available to us and His wisdom is our wisdom. As a child of God, His power is within you.  It lives in you and it was placed there to enable you to deal with the issues of life.

You are not alone.

You are not defeated.

You are not a failure.

You are a child of God and you are more than a conqueror.

Lift yourself up today and walk in the true knowledge of who you are.

Your Word for This Day: “Trained to Reign”

Tuesday, August 15, 2017

Those who receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ. Romans 5:17

Why do I go through so much difficulties?”

“Why can’t life be easier for me?”

“When will all of this come to an end?”

“Why don’t I have any friends?”

There are more questions than answers for many of us, and so, at times confusion reigns in our minds and affects our emotions. No one is exempt from the challenges of life, but know this: you will win the battle if you refuse to quit.

God is training you and equipping you to reign in the place He has destined for you.

There is purpose in what you go through.  There is a reason for the pain.  The principal thing is that in the end you will REIGN.

You are greater than you imagine and stronger than you look.

Know that God has you in His hands, it’s all written in His book.

You are being trained to reign.

Your Word for This Day: “Exceeding Abundantly”

Monday, August 14, 2017

“Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us.” Ephesians 3:20

God is able to do all things for you, and with you, but it will only be done according to the power that is at work in you.

The power at work in you is an exceeding great power.  It is the power of God that is very present in your life.

You do not have to go through life with a defeated mentality.  You do not have to always feel frustrated or even suicidal.

If you would tap into the power that is in you, you will be able to soar above the clouds of despair and depression.

Life is meant to be lived.

Life is a beautiful gift from God.  Life is yours for the time that you are on earth.

Stop enduring life.  Connect with the power that is in you and begin to live.   Forget your mistakes and your yesterdays.  Declare that you have the exceeding abundant power of God living on the inside of you.  Run, jump, shout, do whatever you have to do and activate the power inside of you.

Your Word for This Day: “Stronger than That!”

Friday, August 11, 2017

“Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might.” Ephesians 6:10

Do you realize that many people think that disciples of Christ are are very weak and inconsistent?

You hear all about people who say that they love God but do not live as people who actually do love God.

You, however, because you know who you are and whose you are, do not fall into that category.  You are stronger than that.

You are wiser than that.  You are more focused than that.  You know who you are and you are on your way to fulfill your destiny.

Yes, the problems come.  Yes, the challenges are there.  Yes, the temptations are real. Yes, the pressures of life do exist. All of the above is real, but you are stronger than that.  You have One on your side who has enabled you to persist. You have God on the inside who causes you to triumph.

It may be all around you.  All the others may be still struggling with their identity and trying to discover who they really are, but you, you have begun the journey of self-discovery and you are stronger than that.

Your Word for This Day: “Leading From Within”

Wednesday, August 9, 2017

“That each one of you know how to control his own body in holiness and honor.” 1 Thessalonians 4:4

So many of us want to be in charge and to lead others. Why?  Honestly, at times it feels good to be able to tell others what to do.

There is nothing wrong with wanting to lead.  In fact, we were created by God to do just that.  We are born leaders.

The thing is, though, leading must first start with us.

We must lead ourselves.  There is a leader inside every one of us and that leader must first lead himself.

When we have mastered the art of leading ourselves, only then we qualify to lead those around us.

Today, lead yourself to make the right choices and do the right things.

As you lead yourself others would accept you leading them.

Lead from within.

Your Word for This Day: “I am a R E F L E C T O R”

Wednesday, August 2, 2017

“In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.” Matthew 5:16

Do you know what reflectors do? They reflect; just as a mirror or a polished surface would reflect light, so too reflectors reflect.

We are called to reflect the One who created us.  The Bible clearly states that we are the light of the world and the salt of the earth.

We must, like a mirror, reflect Christ.

As reflectors, we must be concerned about what we are reflecting. Are we reflecting good or evil? Obedience or disobedience? Rebellion or submission? Confidence or low self-esteem?  Success or failure?

It is important that as a person with a new identity in Christ, we reflect who we are and whose we are.

Spend some time today accessing your reflection and if it is not accurate, then do something about it.

Make sure that you are a reflector of God’s glory.
